Yieh Phui plans to increase China plant CR capacity by 1 million tons per year

Reportedly, Taiwan's Yieh Phui Enterprise, a leading coated steel business in Taiwan, has planned to improve its current cold rolling mill annual production capacity to 1 million at its China plant which as Yieh Phui (China) Technomaterial Co (YPT) in Changshu in eastern Jiangsu province.

The new upgrading project has been commissioned by Italy's Daniel and it is expected to be completed in two years period.

It will help YPT's cold rolling production capacity to increase to 1.6 million tons per year as the Changshu plant.

Currently, YPT's Changshu produces 900,000 tons/year of HDG capacity in three lines, one 900,000 tons/year pickling facility, and two color-coating lines with a total capacity of 360,000 tons/year respectively.

Meanwhile, Yieh Phui has also planned to increase its HDG capacity at YPT's Changshu by 310,000 tons/year and color coating capacity by another 210,000 tons/year, according to the company reported.
